KCCA FC laboured to a 1-0 win to eject Madagascan champions CNaPS sports on away goals rule after tying 2-2 on aggregate following the 2-1 loss two weeks ago.
The all important goal came in the 62nd minute through a well delivered corner kick by Mustafa Kizza. Paul Mucurezi leaped higher than his markers to hammer home a superb header.
The first period saw CNaPS dominating possession and making relentless attacks.
KCCA were pedestrian for most of the time and Mike Mutebi reacted quickly on the return of the second period, introducing Muhammad Shaban for Denis Okot which improved on the fluidity in their attacks.
Towards the end of the match, custodian Charles Lukwago made two point blank saves in succession, one from dangerman Francis Rafaralahy and another from Milison Niasexe.
