Micho summons 44 ahead of 5 friendly matches

The five lined friendlies will be against Moldova, Iraq, Bahrain, Botosani and Iceland.

Uganda Cranes head coach Micho Sredojovic has summoned 44 players for the five international friendly games in Turkey and Asia.

The five lined friendlies will be with Moldova, Iraq, Bahrain, Botosani and Iceland.

KCCA FC’s goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan and captain has bounced back to the Cranes fold.

Onduparaka FC’s captain Muhammad Shaban, BUL FC’s leading top scorer Musa Esenu, Benjamin Nyakoojo and unattached Patrick Kaddu are among the summoned squad.

The Cranes are expected to depart Uganda to Turkey on Monday 10th-January ahead of the first match against Iceland on 12th January 2022 in Turkey.

The second match will be played on 15th January 2022 against Botosani and the third match shall come on 18th January 2022 against Moldova. All matches in Europe will be played in Antalya.

In Asia, Uganda Cranes will face Iraq on 21st January 2022 in Baghdad city, and finally Bahrain on 27th January 2022 in Bahrain city.

The team returns home on the 28th January 2022.
