Uganda cranes will today face off with South Sudan in the second leg of the Africa Nations Championships at Startimes Stadium in Lugogo in a must win game.
After fielding a line up dominated by defenders last week in Juba, Micho has made swift changes to his previous line up, opting to include more forward thinking players with the surprise inclusion being URA’s tenacious winger Shafiq Kagimu.
Captain Geoffrey Sserunkuma misses out on the starting 11, after suffering a minor injury when he collided with Thomas Ikara in training.
In an other change, Micho has chosen Vipers’ Striker Milton Karisa and Moses Waiswa to support the offensive force.
Addressing the press on Wednesday, coach Micho cautioned his side about petulance and the shock the Sudanese opponents can cause. Synergy FC youngster Kasozi Nicolas is likely for earn his national team debut after impressing the Serbian tactician.
The aggregate winner will face the winner between Tanzania and Rwanda in the final qualifier game who also tussle it out this weekend in Rwanda.
