Mbogo clan in high gear preparations for Bika opening game

With less than a month left to the opening game of Bika football competition , Mbogo are set to kick off with Ngeye in Kayunga on 8th July 2017, Mbogo clan have started preparations for this encounter, the team is training at Nakivubo primary school grounds from 4:30pm – 6:30 pm.

Richard Makumbi the Mbogo coach says,

We want to win the first game in order to make it to the next round, the tournament is on the knockout basis, that is why we had to have early preparations”.

Makumbi added,

If we are to win the competition, togetherness and support from clan mates is vital and so i call all members from Mbogo clan to always come for our training sessions at Nakivubo blue primary school”. 

Players such as Erisa Sekisambu (Top Scorer of the 2015 edition), Nelson Ssenkatuuka, Siraje Ssentamu, Muwada Mawejje, and Tonny Mawejje the Cranes midfielder will have the responsibility of leading the clan to glory. Mbogo last won the Bika football competitions two years ago that is 2015 when they beat Nkima 3-1 on the finals and they will be looking to achieve the same success this year.

Last year Nte won the tournament after defeating Balangira in the finals that were held in Bugerere and Mamba Gabunga are the most successful clan in the competition with 10 trophies.
This year’s Bika football competition is set to be more competitive than it has been over the past years.
