Mbarara City signs goal keeper Kimera Ali.

Kimera Ali featuered for Mbarara city fc as they played their forth preseason match against league giant Vipers sc.

His performance impressed the management and the coaches and they signed him to play for the Lions of Ankole for the next two years.


” His performance in training has been very good and impressive, the coaches were contented with him and we did the signing” said Mugaru Fred the club CEO.

“We hope he is going to add value to our club given his experience and we wish him the best” he added.


The 26 year old has previously played for Victors fc, SC Villa, Victoria University fc, The saints fc, Kenya Revenue Authority, Chemilil sugar in Kenya. Kimera has been a free agent after his contract with Saints FC expired.

Kimera also featured for the national junior side on U19 in 2007, U20 in 2008 and U23 in 2010 before appearing on the senior team for CECAFA 2012.
