Mbarara City are on the verge of completing the signature of coach Bainomugisha Vialli from Kisugu United FC.
Bainomugisha will replace Richard Makumbi who left his duties as coach after guiding the club to the Azam Uganda Premier League promotion in May.
Bainomugisha Vialli has managed clubs like Lweza FC, Water FC and Kampala regional side Kisugu FC, and his now the coach of the Western Regional select team which is going to play against the national team.
The deal comes after the Ankole lions failed to capture the signature of coach Frank Video Anyau.
Incase the deal falls through he will be the man in the dugout as Mbarara City play the season of 2017-2018 Azam Uganda premier league. Bainomugisha guided Lweza FC to promotion in the 2013-14 season.
Mbarara City is also believed to have already reached an agreement with former Lweza FC striker Fred Kalanzi and is set to sign a two year contract at the club. He will join new recruits that is defender Asuman Harishe Kihogo Asuman, winger Swed Satugombo and right back Byekwaso Saidi.
