Mbarara City set to apoint Sadick Ssempigi’s replacement

Mbarara City Football Club are set to appoint Muhammed Kisekka as their new assistant head coach.

He will be replacing Sadick who opted to step down due to what he termed as unfavorable working conditions.

The CAF B holder will be working with head coach Brian Ssenyondo and is expected to be in charge when Ssenyondo is away with the U17(Cubs) national team which will be taking part in the U17 AFCON Zonal Qualifiers (Central East Zone where he serves as the assistant to Hamza Lutalo.

The U-17 team is currently at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru with the tournament scheduled to kick off on 13th to 28th December in Rwanda.

Kisekka has previously worked with Tooro United Football Club, Paidha Black Angels, Bright Stars and Bugerere in the Airtel Masaza Cup tournament.

With the Uganda Premier League 2020-21 season expected to kick off on 3rd-December, The Ankole Lions will play their first game on Sunday 5th-December against Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
