Mbarara City will be seeking to build on their stunning 3-2 win over Vipers when they welcome Police FC on Saturday at Kakyeka Stadium.

The Ankole Lions will be searching for their third straight league victory, their previous two wins have come against Onduparaka and Vipers SC.

Police have lost four away games in a row and have now gone five games without victory since their 6-1 humbling of MYDA. They have lost three against Express FC, URA FC and Wakiso Giants and drawn against KCCA FC and SC Villa respectively during that time.

In the last seven meetings between the two sides, Mbarara City have won three, drawn two and lost twice to Police FC.

The Cops beat Mbarara City 3-1 in first round meeting at Lugogo.

Mbarara City head coach Livingstone Mbabazi is expected to return in the dugout as he missed the Vipers trip.

The hosts will however be without Martin Elungat, Souleymane Bamba and Siraje Muhindo though respective injuries.

The Visitors are to miss the services of custodian Tom Ikara after he was sent off in the 1-1 draw with Villa. Derrick Kakooza is back from injury.
