Mbarara City FC has parted ways with head coach Vialli Bainomugisha following a string of poor results.
Club C. E. O Fred Mugaru has confirmed with this website that, they have terminated Bainomugisha’s contract following his failure to perform as expected. He says,
“Vialli Bainomugisha was tasked to steer the club to a top place finish in this year’s league and by the look of things, results are not coming his way and we can not look on as we sink deeper.”
” A meeting of stake holders of the club sat and resolved to sack Bainomugisha as a measure of a swift reaction to getting back on track.”
Mbarara City are lining up a coach from Burundi and negotions are already underway to see him take over with immediate effect.
Mbarara City have only managed 2 wins in 10 games, drawing 4 and losing 4 games. They managed to score 4 and conceded 8. Bainomugisha has left them in 12th
Vialli Binomugisha stepped in after the departure of Richard Makumbi at the start of the 2017/18 season.
Vialli Binomugisha has previously coached at Lweza FC, Water FC and Kisugu United
Mbarara City FC tomorrow will host army side UPDF tommorow with no recognized coach.
