Mbarara City return to Kakyeka as they host injury stricken BUL

Mbarara City will host their first game at Kakyeka stadium after receiving clearance from the competitions committee last week.

They host a BUL side who will not travel with 7 of their squad members. Among the notable absentees is defender Musa Walangalira, Hamisi Tibita, Umar Mukobe, Musa Malunda, Wycliffe Mori Manja and new defender Jamaldin Buchochera.

BUL FC are in search for their first ever win against Mbarara City having played to a goalless draw and lost 2-1 in the two previous meetings.

Mbarara City defeated Paidha Black Angels 2-0 in their last encounter courtesy of Karim Ndugwa and Steven Kabuye.

BUL FC played to a barren stalemate against the tax collectors at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru.

Paul Mucurezi, Asuman Alishe, Karim Ndugwa and Steven Kabuye are the men to watch as Mbabazi’s side looks for any positive result.

Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Daniel Shabena, Patrick Sembuya and Deogracious Ojok will inspire Peter Onen’s side as they look for first win against The Ankole Lions.

Mbarara City are 5th on the log with 13 points and BUL FC 4th with 14 points. Any of the two will temporarily go top of the log, depending on Bright Star’s result.
