Bright stars drew their 3rd consecutive game of the season in their visit to Mbarara city on Tuesday 19th September 2017.

The visitors thought they were destined for their 1st win of the season when Captain Nelson Senkatuuka headed home in the 14th minute, but a lack of concentration led to Mbarara City’s equaliser with Eliesa Okorie’s close range finish just seconds to the stroke of half time.

Bright stars will have assistant captain Innocent Asiimwe and Hamza Muwonge to thank for their commendable display after keeping Makweth Wol’s attempts at bay especially in the dying minutes of the match.

Mbarara City’s next game will be against record champions SC Villa on Saturday the 30th of September whereas Bright stars will host Kirinya Jinja SS on Tuesday 26th September 2017.
