Former Mbarara City head coach Brian Ssenyondo has been tipped to replace Bobic Odowa at Mbale Heroes.

Swift Sports understands that contact has been made to Ssenyondo but a compromise has not yet been reached between the coach and his representatives.

Mbale Heroes terminated Odowa’s contract due to a poor run of results both in the FUFA Big League and Stanbic Uganda Cup.

He only managed one point on the three games so far played in the league and lost the first leg game 1-0 to Gadaffi Football Club.

Ssenyondo has a rich CV and experience obtained from his previous appointments at Synergy Football Club, Mbarara City and the U-17 national team.

The youthful coach has been out of action since he was relieved of his duties at Mbarara City in February.

Mbale Heroes next host Gadaffi on Sunday 11th at Mbale Municipal Stadium in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
