Mayanja turns down Ihefu offer

Kyetume Football Club Technical director Jacks on Mayanja has turndown Tanzanian Premier League newbies Ihefu FC.

Last week, Tanzanian media outlet Shutikali.co.tz.cutestat.com reported that Mayanja had reached a compromise with Ihefu FC.

Mayanja says that he has decided to focus on his role at Kyetume FC ahead of the new Uganda Premier League season.

“Its true, I have held negotiations with Ihefu FC but have now made my decision to stay at Kyetume FC for a meantime.” Ihefu had tabled a great offer for me but basing on my relationship with Kyetume FC management, I have decided to turndown the offer.” Stated Mayanja.

Mayanja has previously handled at KCCA FC, Uganda Revenue Authority, Bunamwaya (now Vipers SC), Rayon Sport (Tanzania), Simba FC (Tanzania), KMC (Tanzania) and Kyetume FC.

The former KCCA FC and Al Masry player also served as the Uganda Cranes assistant coach during Bobby Williamson’s reign.
