Kyetume FC head coach Jackson Mayanja is to step down from the role, Swift Sports understands.
Mayanja ditched Wakiso Giants to return to the club he guided to the top tier replacing George Best Nsimbe.
According to Swift Sports reliable sources, Mayanja left for Tanzania after the 2-0 defeat to KCCA FC on Tuesday for business reasons and has missed the club’s training sessions for the last two days.
It is believed that Mayanja made a decision on his future after facing criticism from some players and club fans for using young players on match days.
Mayanja is however expected to be key in naming his successor since he is also the technical director at the club.
Kyetume are currently third from the bottom with 19 points in 19 games and will next face Proline FC on Sunday, 2nd February, 2020.
