Mayanja Mululi completes move to Tanzania’s Mtibwa Sugar

Mayanja was linked to a move back to his former club Soltilo Bright Stars following the expiry of his contract with Police.


Ugandan forward Brian Mayanja Mululi has joined Tanzania Premier League side Mtibwa Sugar.

Mayanja has been as a free agent after his employment contract with Police FC expired this month.

He has signed an employment contract of one and a half years with the Mtibwa club.

Mayanja has previously played in Tanzania with Africa Lyon.

He has also previously played for Kitara FC, BUL FC, Nyamityobora FC, Soana FC, Bright Stars, Dove FC and Kampala University.

He becomes the second Ugandan player at Mtibwa Sugar. The other one being Boban Zirintusa Bogere.

Mtibwa Sugar have so far managed to collect 10 points from 11 games which puts them in the 13th position on the table of 16.

Their next task will be against Ruvu Shooting on 14th January 2022.
