Kyetume FC Manager Jackson Mayanja has clarified on Charles Livingstone Mbabazi’s role at the club.
The Mukono based side added Mbabazi to beef up their technical department in the capacity of head coach
“I am the one who requested the club chairman Ruben Kiberu Kaggwa to add Mbabazi on our technical department as we look forward to next season.”
Mbabazi came in like any other coach and it’s me to decide who joins the technical team.”
He joins us as head coach but we still have Alex Isabirye and David Mutono and we expect to seat down together and decide on the way forward.”
Mayanja also hinted on his role at the club
“I am the team manager at the club not the as the technical director.” So, every coach who joins the club should be professional enough and know that is under me.”
On the rumored move to Rwanda’s topflight side Musanze FC,
“It true that several clubs are interested in my services but am yet to make a decision since I still have two years left on my employment contract at Kyetume FC.”
Kyetume FC finished in 11th place with 30 points in their debut season in the topflight division.
