Express Fc coach Matia Lule has step down as the club’s head coach, Lule who was appointed on a two year contract in November last year, replacing Wasswa Bosa has only served for 9 months at the Wankulukuku based side.

Matia Lule says he has put down his working tools as club coach since he has been unpaid for close to four months.

“I have not stepped down as club coach, but have put down the working tools due to non payments, i and my assistants Kiwanuka Joseph and Pius Ngabo have not been paid for four months. My other assistant Sam Kawalya is still working at the club.”

He adds,

” In case I am cleared,  i am very willing and ready to serve the club again, but as of now i have step down until when have been paid. The other reason as to why i have decided to put down the working tools is the poor administration at the club and it has also hindered the progress of the club. “

“Any  club that  comes with a big offer for me,   I will take it on, since my contract says that if they fail to pay me for three months I am free to join another club and i cannot serve without being paid for four months yet my job is football, so am eligible to move.”

” But all this talk that is written  saying that Iam off to D.R.Congo’s Bukavu Dawa are just rumours and maybe they want to block the major reason of non payments.
I respect Express Fc but they have to do the needful,” he concluded.
