Busoga United 2-0 Express
Second half goals from Ivan Wani and Boban Zirintusa saw Busoga United successfully complete a double over Express this season.
Despite putting up some resistance in the Express failed to find a break through in the first half and so did the hosts.

Coming into the second stanza, Ivan Wani put the hosts into the lead with only 3 minutes off the mark.
The Abbey Kikomeko coached side that did not have their lead marksman Joel Madondo found it easy to over come George Ssimwogerere’s men as the Jinja based side dorminated proceedings mainly in the second stanza.
Defender Joseph Zziwa brought down second half substitute Paul Ssekulima in the forbidden area and Boban Zirintusa converted the resultant penalty to extend the hosts’ lead.
Busoga United also condemned Express to a 2-1 loss at Wankulukuku in the first round of the season.
The win takes them to the 7th position with 21 points while Express remain on 18 points and in the 11th position.
