Table toppers SC Villa visits Masavu FC on match day thirteen of Azam Premier League at Bugonga Fisheries Grounds in Entebbe in the first ever encounter.

SC Villa are enjoying their best form of the season and they will be looking to extend their grip on the top of the table as they visit 15th placed Masavu.

Masavu FC have gained momentum as they are yet to loose any game in their recent three games played winning twice and drawing but have had a bad run at home only winning once out of the six games played and scoring only one goal which was scored against BUL FC by Ddumba Sadala who converted a penalty.

Coach Joseph Mutyaba expects to give SC Villa a good run for their money as they are going to play an attacking game despite taking on the table leaders. He says,

“Despite SC Villa being the table leaders we won’t fear them but play an attacking game since we are home.”

“The players are in a good shape and are together as a team so we are expecting good results tomorrow “

Paul Mukatabala the assistant coach of SC Villa affirms that the Jogoos are only in Bugonga for their 2nd win of the season regardless of the fact that Masavu are in a reviving mode. He says

“We are going to play against a team that is fighting for their life to survive the drop. It won’t be an easy game as they have not lost in their last two games”.

” We are now top of the log and we don’t intend to be there only for hours but to maintain it. We hope to collect our second victory of the season against Masavu.”

“Confidence is high in the camp after our derby victory. All the players are set and available for the game”.

Simon Serunkuuma has trained with the team and he will be in contention for a place, Geoffrey Lwesibawa managed to shake off the knock he got on Saturday and the rest all available.

Masavu FC will bank on the services of Skipper Abraham Ndugwa, Brian Nsubuga and Ddumba Sadala to look for the second home win since the start of the season as goalkeeper Mansoor Mutumba is out due to accumulated yellow cards. Eddie Kawooya will sit out the game because SC Villa is his parent club.

A win for SC Villa will keep them on top of the log they are leading with 25 points as a win for Masavu FC moves them away from the relegation zone since they are 15th with 11 points.
