MATCH PREVIEW : Rejuvenated BUL FC visit Maroons

Maroons welcomes BUL Fc at Luzira Prisons tomorrow in the final first round encounter of the Azam Uganda Premier league.

Maroons comes in this fixture after a 1-1 stalemate with UPDF at home whereas their opponents BUL Fc cruised 2-0 passed Soana in their previous fixture at Kakindu.

BUL Fc managed a double over BUL in their last two league meetings during the 2015-16 season, winning 4-0 in Luzira and 2-0 in Jinja.

Maroons have drawn 6 of their 6 previous fixtures while BUL Fc has found form at the right time and have won the last three league games in succession.

BUL FC are enjoying a reach vein of form having managed to win 3 games on the trot, they beat Proline, Police and Soana. It’s a against this background that head coach Kefa Kisala has called reminded his team to continue keeping focus and concentrate on the task at hand. He said,

” A tough game it is tomorrow against a very tough opponent, they haven’t lost in the last 6 matches and they will be hoping to win against us but we are ready to continue with our fine form “.

“This is a game that will be decided on minor details, whoever turns up mentally and physically prepared will win the day.” Kisala added.

Maroons has struggled to hit form at home and have only registered one win, drawn 5 and lost once in the 7 games they have hosted this season.

Ivan Wani and Solomon Walusimbi are expected to continue with their impressive performances to lift up the Prisons side.

Kefa Kisala’s side will bank on Fred Agandu James Otim and Daniel Shabene if they are to earn maximum points from Luzira. Hamis Tibita will also be available for selection after being rested for the Soana match

Asaph Mwebaze’s men currently lies 8th on the log with 18 points whereas BUL Fc sits 9th with 17 points.

Asaph Mwebaze’s men will like to end 2017 on a bang at home but will have to overcome the obstacle in front of them and that is Kefa Kisala’s BUL FC side.
