Relegation threatened UPDF FC will kick start their second round home campaign of the second leg against struggling Proline at Bombo Barracks grounds tomorrow.
The hosts UPDF Fc are bottom placed on the Azam Uganda Premier league table with 11 points from 16 games played whereas their opponents Proline lie in 13th place with 17 points only 2 above the drop zone.
This season, the first round meeting at Lugogo between the two sides saw Proline outclass UPDF Fc 4-2.
Last season both sides failed to cancel each other as it ended 1-1 in Bombo and 2-2 in Lugogo.
In the previous game UPDF Fc played to a 1-1 stalemate with Masavu at Bugonga Fisheries institute grounds while Proline suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Kirinya.
At home, the army side has only registered 2 wins, drawn 4 and lost 2 in the 8 games they have hosted this season.

On the contrary, Proline is yet to taste victory on the road this season, having lost 6 and drawn twice in the 8 outings.
UPDF Fc head coach Steven Bogere says the more prepared team will be in position to win the game. He says,
“We managed to get a positive result at Masavu but tomorrow we are playing a different side in Proline. In football everything is possible so the more prepared and lucky side will take the day.”
The hosts have no injury concerns ahead of this contest and will mainly depend on Fahad Bardiro who was on target at Masavu alongside Janjali Joseph and Mustapha Kasolo.
Arnold Sserunjogi, Ewuchie Dichimma, Joshua Okiror, Simon Mbazira will miss Proline trip to Bombo through respective injuries.
Daniel Isiagi, Joseph Mandela and David Owori are expected to lift up Mujib Kasule’s charges.
A win for Steven Bogere’s side will see them move from the base of the log to 15th place while victory for Proline is likely to take them to 10th place pending other results.
