The Jinja based side BUL FC will today host Police FC in the Azam Uganda Premier League in a game which either the hosts will be looking to extend their winning streak against their visitors or the later will be looking to tame the formers’ dominance over them in the previous two years.
In their previous fixtures, BUL FC over came Proline FC 1-0 courtesy of Hamisi Tibita late goal to secure the 3 points at Lugogo while Police FC secured a 4-3 win against Express FC at Namboole to end the 7 game winless streak on a high note.
Police has only managed one win in their previous 5 league games when they went against all odds to win 4-3 against sleeping gaints Express FC. They lost all the other 4 games.
“Our previous win gives us the courage to keep going. We are working to build and improve our game in every other match. We are prepared and ready to face BUL.” Said Abudallah Mubiru the Police FC head coach.
BUL FC on the other hand has won one, lost two and drawn two of their previous 5 league games winning 4 and losing one.

Police FC has not won a game against BUL FC in the last time 2 years. The Jinja based side won the reverse fixture with a 1-0 in at Namboole last November.
The cops have only managed one win out the recent 5 meetings between these two sides, 2 of the games were played to stalements while BUL FC won the other two fixtures.
Forwards Ben Ochen and Norman Ogik youngster and new recruit Pius Kaggwa will be expected to emulate the form they showed in the previous games if Police is to get the desired points. They will also be boosted by the return of Steven Mugisha who served a suspension due to accumulation of yellow cards in the previous game.
For the hosts, all the players have been declared fit and ready for the game and will all be available for selection.
With 20 games played so far, BUL FC has sits in the 9th position with 25 points on the table of 16 teams while Police occupies the 7th position with 28 points from the same number of games.
A win for the cops sends them to the 5th position with 31 points while one for Kefa Kisala’s charges takes them to the 8th position with 28 points.
