Defending champions KCCA fc play host to Masavu fc in the round 8 of the Azam Uganda Premier League.
This will be the first ever Azam Uganda Premier League meeting between these two sides as Masavu are new entrants who are playing their debut season.
Masavu are bottom placed on the table of 16 teams with only 4 points in 7 games while KCCA are 8th with 10 points with 7games played so far .
Mike Mutebi’s men come into this game after a loss to fellow favourites SC Villa and they will look to bounce back against Masavu.
Masavu also lost their previous game 1:0 against Maroons fc in their own backyard courtesy of Solomon Walusimbi header.
KCCA fc has not had a good run of the season either, they have own only twice against 4:1 against Onduparaka fc and 3:1 against BUL fc since the season begun. They have suffered one loss against fellow giants Sc Villa and the rest of the games were played to stalemates.
Masavu fc head coach Alex Gitta is optimistic they will get the desired results from Lugogo bragging that the first 3 points his team earned this season where against Proline fc on the same turf,

” First of all we are set to get the best results from this game. We are going to stage a very good performance and get the desired results.”
“Looking at our performance, it has been so good in away games. We got our first 3 points away at the same turf against Proline FC so we are optimistic we shall get the best results.”
Sulaiman Mutah, Charles Odeke and Lawrence Bakilanze are all ruled out of this game with injuries for the visitors but talisman Abraham Ndugwa is expected to be key in this encounter.
