Under fire URA coach brahim Kirya will be desperately looking for a win against BUL FC tomorrow at Namboole in the Uganda premier league.
URA FC who were tipped by book markers to be one of the favorites to win this year’s championship have failed to find a win from their previous 4 outings.
They will have to cope without assistant captain Allan Munaaba, Richard Kasagga, Saidi Kyeyune, and striker Bokota Labama Kamana who are sidelined through injury.
However Ibrahim Kirya asserts that his team is not under any pressure to win this game since it also carries the same points as any other fixture. He says,
“This game like any other carries 3 points, we are at home and haven’t lost at home this term, we just need to keep level headed and play our game.”
“We shouldn’t put ourselves under pressure because this is a league and a marathon, the teams on the top have 10 points and we are on 5, we have to handle game by game and if we manage to win tomorrow, we shall have done ourselves a huge favor as regards getting back on track”.
” It’s quite absurd that I have lost some key players to injury but the squad I have is good enough and whoever I call upon to work tomorrow will be expected to perform to their best. Added Kirya.
Goal keeper Cleo Ssettuba continues to be sidelined by injury whereas striker Joseph Mpande is yet to receive clearance from the Ugandan federation.
URA Fc comes into this contest at the back of a 1-0 defeat to Express Fc whereas BUL Fc was humiliated by Kcca Fc at home 3-1 in their previous fixture.
Last season URA Fc drew at Lugazi 1-1 and won the away encounter 2-1 at Kakindu Stadium thanks to Diego Kizza’s Brace .
The tax collectors will bank on attacking midfielder Shafik Kagimu and striker Henry Kiseka to penetrate the visitors defence while Kefa Kisala will have his trust in striker Patrick Asiku, Richard Wandyaka and Daniel Shabena to cause more misery to URA Fc.
BUL Fc lie in 10th place on the Azam premier league log with 5 points accumulated whereas URA Fc lies 11th on the table with 5points collected in the 5 games played this season.
