Vipers are firing on all cylinders having managed to collect 13 points out of a possible 15 from their last 5 games.
That is surely a championship chasing form that was demanded from them.
They will take on a Bright stars side that has only won once in the last 5 premier league matches.
Bright stars are not only struggling for form but they have also not beaten Vipers in the last 9 meetings.
Vipers have won 3 and the remaining 6 games have seen them share spoils but most interesting is that 5 of them have ended goalless including the last meeting when the two met at Mwererwe in the opening fixture of the 2017/18 season.
First choice goal keeper Ismael Watenga remains sidelined, whereas Yayo Lutimba is still nursing a minor knock, the rest of the squad goals is passed fit.
Bright stars continue to miss their head coach Fred Kajoba who is out in America for further studies.
Nelson Senkatuka is expected to continue shouldering their goal scoring burden, as veteran goal keeper Hamza Muwonge might be given a chance to face his former pay masters
Vipers can go second with a win depending on the result between KCCA and Mbarara city. Bright stars need on the other hand to at least pick a point to help them keep away from the relegation mix.
