Three points are up at stake for struggling Express as they take on an inconsistent Vipers’ side at Wankulukuku in round 14 as the league resumes from a two weeks break.
Express who are currently two spots from the log bottom, are yet to pick a point under Shafik Bisaso losing all three matches he has been in charge with a similar 1-0 score line.
His opposite number Jorge Da Costa is on borrowed time as any blip can inevitably spark his exit. Vipers are fifth with 8 points adrift SC Villa the table toppers courtesy of a patchy run that has produced 5 draws, 6 wins and 3 defeats.

While at home this season, Express has won twice (against URA and Maroons) losing three times and drawing on two occasions. On contrast, the venoms have two wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats away from home.
The previous 14 league meetings between the two sides have seen Vipers emerging the better side winning 6 times and drawing 6 times. Express winning only twice.
The visitors will look up to their top scorer Milton Karisa alongside Tony Odur and Erisa Sekisambu to pick maximum points from this encounter while Express will rely on their diminutive marksman Dan Serunkuuma who has contributed 70% of the goals they have managed to score so far.
A win for Express can only intensify their efforts to move from the red zone whereas for Vipers can keep them in the title chase despite their fading hopes with two games to the league break.
