Bright Stars FC host BUL FC at the Champions’ Stadium Mwererwe in Matugga in match day 9 of the Azam Uganda Premier League.
Bright Stars come into this tie after playing a goalless draw against Express at Wankulukuku. BUL FC also shared spoils against Onduparaka in a 0-0 stalemate at Kakindu.
Bright Stars Fc has lost 1 game in their last 5 matches, won 2 and drew the other 2.
BUL FC on the other hand however, have lost 2 of their last 5 games ,won 1 and drew 2.
The last 6 meetings between these teams in the Azam Uganda Premier League has seen Bright Stars win 3, lose 2 and drawing once.
Bright Stars assistant coach Paul Kiwanuka is optimistic his side will win this game. Speaking to his club official website, he said;
“Playing at home gives us alot of confidence especially putting in mind about our record in Mwererwe. We have prepared well for the game against BUL FC “.
Bright Stars inform skipper and talisman Nelson Ssenkatuka must maintain his scoring form to help his team get the desired points.
Hamuza Muwonge the Bright Stars goalkeeper has so far had a very good season, making various saves to help his team contain situations in the various games – he is expected to replicate his performances once again.
Patrick Crespo Asiku, Mike Ndera and Hamis Tibita are expected to lead the Jinja based side in an attempt to get away points.
