No team has drawn more games than Maroons FC this season, the Prison wardens have drawn 10 games and it’s surprising that they have the same number of wins 4 as relegation threatened Masavu.

It’s against this background that head coach Asaph has urged his players to take all their chances and ensure maximising all 3 points agaisnt Masavu whom they beat 1-0 in Bugonga courtesy of a Solomon Walusimbi goal in the 82nd minute.

“We are coming in tomorrow’s game to maximise the points and I believe we shall make it since we haven’t lost any league game in the last four months good enough we are home and having no injury concerns “

“We need to win games and take maximum advantage of our home ground ” .

The first meeting between the two was the 2016-2017 FUFA big league final at Startimes Stadium Lugogo where Maroons FC emerged champions on 2-1 goals scored by Patrick Kaddu and Solomon Walusimbi as the Masavu FC lonely goal was scored by Andama Onesmus.

Masavu FC have managed 2 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses away from home and this gives Joseph Mutyaba their head coach confidence that they can get a result from Luzira. He says,

“Our performance in away games has always been not so bad basing on the first round and my players have the capacity to get the three points away from home.”
