Buddu FC have parted ways with Steven Bogere and moved fast in naming Livingston Mbabazi as their new head coach for the 2019 season.
Buddu who last won the tournament in 2016 have worked with Bogere for four seasons.
David Byarugamba the team manager confirmed the news to this website.
“It is true we have parted ways with coach Steven Bogere and he will be replaced by Mbabazi whom we expect in camp immediately as soon as he is done with national duties.”
“We had some misunderstandings with Bogere and it became so hard for him to ask for forgiveness and we thought we could not continue with him”
Currently Mbabazi is with the Uganda Cranes COSAFA national team where he is deputising Police FC’s Abdullah Mubiru and will depart for South Africa on Thursday 23rd May where they are taking part in the COSAFA cup.
Bogere however refuted claims of doing any wrong and confirmed his exit.
“It is usually very hard to say sorry on something you did not commit they failed to expound on what it really was”.
“Good enough the years I have worked with Buddu will live to be remembered since it is behind their maiden tittle.”
Buddu FC players are already in camp carrying out the training session at Blessed Sacrament Kimanya under Ronald Lukungu.
Buddu is grouped alongside Kooki, Bulemezi, Mawokota and Mawogola in Butikkiro group and will kick start this season at Kasana grounds Luweero against Bulemezi.
