DAVID GOMBE

Mawokota have appointed former Uganda Cranes and KCCA FC right back Richard Malinga as their head coach for the 2020 Airtel Masaza Cup tourney.

He replaces Ssaka Mpima who was at the helms last year as the three time Masaza Cup champions failed to advance to the knockout phase.

The CAF “C” Licensed tactician also serves as one of the Academy coaches at KCCA FC.

At the three time Airtel Masaza Cup champions, he will be assisted by Yahiya Brazilian and Ben Mugisha is the goalkeeping coach.

Robert Omonyi, Jamadah Mugassi, Tonny Katamba and Faizal Kizito are the other members on the technical team.

The championship is expected to kickoff immediately when the Coronavirus lockdown is lifted.
