2006 Masaza Cup winners Kooki have completed the signing of winger Anthony Ssekidde Masikirano.
Ssekidde, who plays for Super Cubs Academy in the fourth tier division, agreed to play for Kooki on a one year contract.
The budding winger who can ably play on either flanks of attack, expressed his delight upon joining the Sadick Ssempigi coached side.
” I’m so happy to join Kooki because they are an organized side. I thank them for trusting me and I want to use this chance to prove my worth as a player as well as helping my team achieve their goals this season.” Ssekidde says.
Besides playing for Super Cubs Academy, Ssekidde previously featured for Mutundwe Celtic and Mutundwe Red Stars in the recent past.
He is a promising prospect endowed with agility, dribbling skills and explosive acceleration which enable him beat opponents in one on one situations.
Kooki team Manager Matovu Moses Kasendwa believes Ssekidde will be vital in helping his side to compete favourably this year.
” Now that we have acquired Ssekidde, I believe our team will be good to go in terms of going forward. He is a good player and I believe he will perform to our expectations as far as this year’s edition is concerned.
