Gomba Lions have signed stylish offensive midfielder Titus Tito Ssematimba from Buddu as preparations for the 2020 Airtel Masaza tournament intensify.
Ssematimba is a student at St Lawrence University (SLAU) who also plays for Black Stars FC in the Kampala Regional League.
Ssematimba and the Gomba Lions have officially agreed terms on a one year contract.

He joins the den of new recruits who include Raymond Walugembe from Buddu, goalkeeper Derrick Were from Ssingo, Charles Kasumba, former Buddu captain Nasser Lukwago, Isaac Ogwang Falcao, Ponsiano Ssegonja, Bishop Henry Orom, Nasif Kabuye, Ashraf Zizinga and left back Ben Nambokho among others.
Under the stewardship of Ibrahim Kirya, Gomba will be in search of the record fifth title having triumphed in 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2017.
