Martinez names 18 man traveling squad to Algeria

Vipers SC tactician Javier Martinez Espinoza has named an 18 man squad traveling to Algeria for the second round CAF Champions league preliminary first leg contest against CS Constantine on Friday 14th December, 2018 at Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui, Algeria.

The traveling contingent will leave today evening aboard Fly Emirates via Dubai to Algeria for the mouthwatering fixture.

Skipper Tadeo Lwanga and Godfrey Wasswa are not part of the squad to Algeria due to suspensions after accumulation of yellow yards during the El Merreikh fixtures.

First choice custodian Fabien Mutombora remains sidelined as he recovers from a knee injury sustained last month with Bashir Sekagya who has been in tremendous form set to again fill the void.

The winner of this tie will automatically book a place in the CAF Champions league group stages. The second leg will be played on the weekend of 22nd December at St.Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
