South African side Free State Stars have signed former SC Villa and KCCA winger Martin Kizza on a short term contract until the end of the season with a possibility of signing a two year contract.
Kizza has been a free agent since his employment contract with with SC Villa expired at the end of the last season.
The left footed winger has been confirmed by the Premier Soccer League outfit together with another new signing Michelle Katsvairo who was also acquired on a short term deal.
His signing means he becomes the second Ugandan player to ply trade at Free State Stars after striker Hamis Diego Kiiza who played for the Bethelem club in 2016.
Kizza also joins three Ugandan players who turn up in the South African topflight league – that is Denis Onyango, Godfrey Walusimbi and Allan “Dancing Rasta” Kateregga.
Free State Stars are coached by former Township Rollers and AFC Leopards Serbian tactician Nikola Kavazovic.
