Ugandan left-footed winger Martin Kizza is set to fly to Croatia for a one month trial at Nogometni Klub Osijek (NK Osijek) next week.
Kizza who once had trials in Serbia last year is linked to Ivica Stankotic who also doubles as the agent of Denis Onyango and former Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic Micho.
The former SC Villa and KCCA player has been a free agent since the expiration of his employment contract at SC Villa at the end of last season.
Kizza was instrumental in SC Villa’s campaign last season scoring 10 goals as the 16-time champions agonizingly lost out on the league title in the closing stages.
Should his move materialise, Kizza will join fellow Ugandan Farouk Miya who turns out for HNK Gorica in the same league.
After playing 11 games, Osijek sits 2nd with 23 points behind traditional giants Dinamo Zagreb in the Croatian first league.
