Maroons FC confirm new head coach

FUFA Big League side Maroons Football Club have confirmed the appointment of Mohammed Ssenfuma as their new head coach and James Chemari as his deputy.

The two have been in the club set up working with the Academy.

The duo replace Charles Ayiekoh and Eric Ndifuna whose contracts were terminated due to poor string of results.

Ayiekoh and his assistant managed eight Big league games and two Stanbic Uganda Cup managing to win twice, drew once and lost the other six.

Senfuma was in charge on match day eight and managed to register a 2-0 victory against Gaddafi courtesy of goals from Bronson Nsubuga and Fred Amaku.

Maroons is fighting for survival in the FUFA Big League with only ten points from eight games and sit 5th on Elgon group.

They next visit table leaders Arua Hill SC on Sunday 23rd at Barifa grounds in Arua.
