Walusimbi drew first blood as early as the sixth minute of the game with an easy finish.

Mukwala came on for Pius Obuya on the resumption and doubled Maroons’ lead 10 minutes to normal time.

It was a game played on a slippery and flooded Wankulukuku surface following a heavy down pour minutes to the kick off.

Steven Omvia and John Ssemazzi were at fault for failing to convert Tooro United’s chances on the day.

Wasswa Bbosa the Tooro coach was serving his second and final match of touchline suspension.

Bbosa will return in the dug out on Saturday 13th September against URA FC at Namboole.

Maroons FC will host Bright Stars on Saturday 14th September at Luzira Prisons grounds.
