Maroons’ Bamweyana wins September coach of the month accolade

Maroons FC tactician Douglas Bamweyana has been named Pilsner coach of the month of September beating SC Villa’s Edward Kaziba.

Bamweyana’s side managed three wins and one lose in their opening four league fixtures this season.

The former SC Villa and Express coach expressed his optimism and applauded UPL for appreciating his work

“I am delighted to have won this accolade and this shows that there are people who do appreciate our work. This encourages us to work hard and see that the club produces better results.”

We have a lot of work to do at the club but we are also optimistic with the talent we have that we are to produce more results this season.”

Bamweyana was presented with an accolade and one million Uganda Shillings. His charges will next travel Mbarara City on Wednesday 9th October at Luzira Prisons grounds.
