Maroons’ Bamweyana and Tezigwa fined for misconduct

Maroons FC head coach Douglas Bamweyana and goalkeeping coach Rodgers Tezigwa have been fined for unsporting behaviour by the FUFA Competitions Displinary Panel.

The duo have been found guilty for attacking match officials after their 2-1 lost to Bright Stars on Wednesday 29th January at Kavumba recreation center grounds.

Bamweyana and Tezigwa will have to pay a fine of one million shillings (1,000,000) and five hundred thousand shillings (500,000) respectively for the unsporting conduct towards the match officials.

Further more the panel has also warned goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo and defender Maxwell Okello against any form of unsporting conduct and warns Bamweyana not to come near the technical bench before payment of the fine.

The Prison Warders are 10th on the log of 16 with 24 points from 21 games and will be facing Express FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup at Kavumba on Wednesday 12th February.
