Maroons aspire to end 8 match winless streak as they host Police FC in the forces derby

Maroons welcomes Police at Luzira Prisons grounds with both sides assured of topflight football next season. The two sides will only be seeking for a better finish as the league approaches it’s climax.

The two will take on each other with only one point separating them. Maroons is the better placed side and are current occupants of 6th position with 36 points accumulated in 28 league games.

Police on the other hand are 8th placed on the AUPL log with 35 points collected from 28 league games.

Maroons played out to a goalless draw with Bright Stars in their previous games at Luzira Prisons grounds.

The cops come into this after suffering a 2-0 loss in their last game at the hands of table leaders Vipers.

The last 7 encounters between them have seen each wining once and the rest ending in stalemates. Both sides played out to a 2-2 draw in their first round contest at Namboole.
