FUFA Big League side Maroons FC has unveiled midfielder Yahaya Luti as their first signing of the current transfer season.
Luti rejoins a side he previously played for when they won the FUFA Big League in 2015 and 2017.
In the 2019/20 season, the midfielder was loaned to relegated Mbale Heroes but was on the sidelines in the previous season due to a knee injury.
Luti expressed his gratitude upon returning to a club he calls home and promised to help them fight for promotion.
“To me Maroons is more than a family, this is where my story started, I achieved a lot with with the club and hopefully I still want to celebrate much here.”
“All my attributes and hardwork shall be drawn towards a dream of playing in the top flight league again. I must appreciate my coaches for the trust vested in me again to deliver.” He added via Maroons FC website.
Despite fighting relegation in the previous season, The Prison Warders target returning to the topflight.
The FUFA Big League 2021/22 season which will have 12 teams is tentatively expected to kick off on the 21st of October.
