Allan Kateregga “Dancing Rasta” has joined Maritzburg United on loan from Cape Town City until the end of the Premier Soccer League season.

Maritzburg United confirmed the transfer on the deadline day of the mid-season window via their official social media platforms

” The club can confirm the signing of Allan Katerrega from Cape Town City on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Welcome to the Team of Choice, Allan.”

The deadlocked Uganda Cranes player has had a handful of league appearances but managed to score one goal that came against Black Leopards in November last year.

The club nicknamed as ” The Team of Choice” warmly welcome the Ugandan offensive midfielder as they hope to beat the drop this season.

Maritzburg United are sitting on the bottom of the South African topflight league table with only 11 points garnered from 18 games played.

Kateregga’s arrival comes two days after the Kwazulu-Natal outfit named Eric Tinkler as their new coach replacing Muhsin Ertugral.

Kateregga has in the past featured for SC Victoria University, KCCA FC and Kenyan Premier league club AFC Leopards.
