Magogo accounts for the failure of Vipers’ coronation

The 2019/20 UPL winners were not given their medals

David GOMBE

FUFA President Moses Magogo has clarified on why Vipers were not handed the Uganda Premier league title last season.

“Last year, the champions of the previous season were offered the opportunity to be handed over the trophy with StarTimes and FUFA were ready but the club was not ready to receive the trophy.”

” This time FUFA, the Sponsors and the club we were all ready for this scientific event.”

Magogo also congratulated Express FC and again hailed the Club CEO Isaac Mwesigwa for his tremendous work

“I take this opportunity to congratulate Express FC and I am excited that our programmes of clubs Pro agenda are now delivering both on and off the pitch.” During the season, I went on record and hailed the CEO of Express as the most empowered in the League, so I am not surprised that they won the title.”

Said Magogo

The FUFA boss revealed this at the scientific Coronation of Express FC on Tuesday at StarTimes Uganda offices at Soliz House.
