Uganda Cranes midfielder Tadeo Lwanga has been shown the exit at Egyptian outfit Tanta FC.
Lwanga joined the Egyptian side in August last year from Uganda Premier league side Vipers SC.
Tanta SC have also released Gabon’s Mario Bernard who also joined the club at the start of the 2019/20 season.
Lwanga only made 11 appearances during his short spell at the club. He was part of the 23 Cranes man squad at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The 2019/20 Egyptian Premier league season was halted by the outbreak of the global Coronavirus pandemic and is set to resume in August.
The development comes after another Ugandan footballer Jayden Onen was earlier this month released by English Championship side Brentford.
Lwanga has previously featured for SC Villa and Express FC before joining Vipers SC.
