Lubega Edrisa on target as Floridsdorfer AC falls 3-2 to SV Ried.

Uganda Cranes striker Edrisa Lubega scored his first goal in his third game this season for Austria Liga 1 side Floridsdorfer AC away to Keine Sorgen in Ried Austria on Friday night 4th August 2017.

Lubega 19, gave his team the lead in the 32nd minute to make it 2:1 for the visitors before the break. Floridsdorfer AC failed to maintain the lead and were equalized immediately at the start of the second half, the game leveled at 2:2.

Although Lubega caused several threats in the second half he was denied a brace as he received some few chances however, Floridsdorfer AC new coach Eidler Thomas substituted the Ugandan young star for the second time his season in the 72nd minute giving way to Austrian Andreas Rossak.

Immediately after Lubega’s substitution his side Florisdorfer conceded the third goal with only 16 minutes to the peak of the game.

Lubega’s Floridsdorfer registered their third loss in the first three games played this season and they lie at the bottom of Austria Liga 1. Lubega joined Floridsdorfer in January this year on Loan from Proline FC, he has played 14 games Florisdorfer and managed to score on three occasions against Kapfenberger SV last season and Wiener Neustadt.

Floridsdorfer will pay against 4th placed Wattens at FAC-Platz stadium in Vienna on 8th August 2017.
