Somalia based side Horseed Football Club has joined the contention for the services of Ugandan coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi.
Horseed FC who missed out on acquiring the signature of Ibrahim Kirya, will have to beat SC Villa and Mbarara City who are also relishing for Mbabazi’s signature on a 3 year deal.
Horseed FC is an armed forces owned outfit and boast of a combined 7 league championships. They finished 4th last season behind Deekadah FC, Banadir FC and Heegan FC.
In March this year, Mbabazi was relieved of his duties at Onduparaka citing poor performances and was subsequently taken up by FUFA Big League side Kyetume FC which he guided to the playoffs before losing to Paidha Black Angels.
Mbabazi has previously worked in the horn of Africa as a coach on the Somalia national team in 2015. He has also coached at Bright Stars, URA FC, Onduparaka FC before joining Kyetume FC 3 months ago.
In case Mbabazi joins Horseed FC, he would have joined fellow Ugandan coach Hussein Mbalangu who is at Banadir FC and players Julius Malingumu and Ronald Nyanzi who ply trade at Heegan FC.
