FUFA Women Super League side Lady Doves have bolstered their squad with four more additions ahead of new season.
The club has announced the signing of Tanzanian midfielder Aziz Zuena Tembeni who has been plying her trade with Thika Queens in Kenya.
The Tanzanian who put pen to paper on a two year contract is expected to add fire power in the club’s midfield department that also has Riticia Nabbosa.
Defender Nabilla Nakitto also formerly at Kawempe Muslim and Kampala Queens has also signed a three year deal with the Masindi based outfit.
In the same development, striker Nulu Nakyanzi has officially returned to the club after spending the entire last season on loan at Asubo Gafford Ladies.
Nakyanzi missed the decisive penalty as Asubo Gafford Ladies fell short of Super League promotion against Tooro Queens at Njeru early this month.
She will be a teammate with her sister Fatuma Nakasumba who earlier on signed a three year contract with the club.
Juliet Neguwon is the fourth addition to the Lady Doves squad having spent last season on loan at Bunyaruguru Girls in the FUFA Women Elite League.
Earlier on, Lady Doves also confirmed the signing of Rashida Nankya, 15 year Marget Namande from Kakiri and Vicky Agwang a defender from Lango Queens all on three year contracts.
The Masindi club is expected to confirm the departure of some of the players who competed in the previous season as well as more recruits ahead of the new season.
Lady Doves named Fred Musiime as their interim coach after parting ways with John Ongodia in June this year.
The 2019/20 FUFA Women Super League season was declared null and void due to the COVID-19 Pandemic while the start date for the new season has not been confirmed yet.
