Kyetume shred Nyamityobora as Kataka consolidate top spot in Big league

Ezra Bida and Ezra Kaye Kizito bagged a hat trick and brace each in Kyetume FC’s 9-1 humiliating victory over Nyamityobora FC at Nakisunga grounds in Mukono.

Emmanuel Kalyowa, David Oyedda, Rahumatah Kagimu and Steven Kabuye scored the others.

The consolation goal for Nyamityobora FC was scored by the club’s tallies man Clinton Kamugisha.

Kamugisha is currently the league’s leading scorer with eight goals.

In the other game of the day, Paul Onnyu’s 38th minute goal for Calvary FC was enough for the Arua based entity to move away with maximum points against Luweero United at Kosovo grounds in Luweero.

MYDA woes continued to worsen when they suffered their sixth loss of the season at the hands of Kitara FC in Masindi.

Oscar Muhinizi and Edison Agonze scored the all important goals for Kitara FC.

MYDA FC’s only goal was scored by Geoffrey Sserunkuma the are bottom placed with only four points from eight games.

Table leaders Kataka FC bounced back to winning ways with a slim 1-0 victory against Ndejje University at Mbale Municipal Stadium

Emmanuel Mukisa was the goal scorer for the sole goal in Mbale.

Kataka FC still top the table with 17 points, three above second placed Kitara FC.

The match between Proline FC and Blacks Power in Lira was abandoned as Proline FC could not raise the minimum number of players required in a game.

Proline FC had only nine players and by halftime. Goalkeeper Sharif Magola, Joseph Mandela and Yusuf Mandela had got injured and stretched off.
