Kyetume FC has been relegated to the FUFA Big League after a decision taken by the FUFA Emergency Executive committee on Tuesday that the article 18 section 1 sub section C&D of competitions rules be evoked.
Following the decision the slaughters will now join already relegated Kitara FC and MYDA to the second tier of Ugandan football.
Kyetume FC finished the season with 23 points while MYDA and Kitara garnered 14 and 13 points respectively in the 27 games they played apiece.
FUFA also declared Express FC as the Uganda Premier league champions for the 2020/21 campaign and will also represent Uganda at the CAF Champions League next season.
URA FC finished as runners up and will also represent the country at the CAF Confederation Cup.
For starters, sports activities in the country were banned for 42 days due to the surging Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
