Kyaggwe appoint Nsumba as head coach

David GOMBE

Kyaggwe have appointed Augustine Nsumba as their new head coach ahead of the 15th edition of the Airtel Masaza Cup.

Nsumba replaces Mark Twinamasiko who failed to guide them past the group stages during last year’s event. He is a former SC Villa, URA FC and BUL FC player.

He also had a stint in Iceland at IBV between 2007 to 2009.

Nsumba will be assisted by William Kyeswa and Moses Ogiling as the goalkeeping coach. Kyaggwe have never won the prestigious tournament.

Kyaggwe are pitted in Muganzirwaza group alongside Busujju, Kabula and Butambala. They will begin their campaign away to Busujju on 8th June.

The competition will officially kick off on 1st June with defending champions Ssingo hosting Ssese at Mityana Saza grounds.
